First Jeff Healey, now Swayze. I hope Sam Elliott doesn't keel over anytime soon.

I hope he's able to go peacefully if he isnt able to beat it.

Though, I find it even sadder that the Sun-Times' two main sources for this story are the Enquirer and Perez Hilton.

A representative for Patrick Swayze says he is being treated for pancreatic cancer but is well enough to continue working.
The "Dirty Dancing" actor has a very limited amount of disease and appears to be responding well to treatment, according to Dr. George Fisher, Swayze's physician. The doctor's prognosis was included in a statement released Wednesday by Swayze's representative, Annett Wolf.
"Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects," the statement said.

| #5 Posted on 5.3.08 1737.55 | Instant Rating: 4.84 | I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer 3 years ago. It's just awful, and the survival statistics for it aren't good at all. My uncle lost both of his siblings to the same disease.
I hope he pulls through. I wouldn't wish what we went through on anybody. |
