I scanned all the topics, and I couldn't seem to find anyone else having written about D'Lo in NWATNA (is there some shorter way to write that for lazy people like me)? If it was already discussed, then I'm sorry.
Mainly, I can't claim to be that surprised. Does anyone think he'll do anything that good? Didn't people used to love D'Lo? I was never that crazy about him. I guess I just always felt bad that he was held back, but I was never dying to see him pushed forward, and I wasn't that fond of the matches he had had in the past few months. And I don't think it was his gimmick's fault. Someone like Stevie Richards has always been stuck with horrific gimmicks, but I love every minute of him on TV.

Hip hop meets philosophical commentary (plus free music samples!):
This is pretty much exactly how I feel. Stone Cold, The Rock, Razor Ramon, nWo, Mr. Perfect (!), Ultimate Warrior, Goldberg, Harlem Heat. Tons of stuff like that. You could call that "generic" I guess, but to me it was the exact opposite.
