Thanks to the mods for indulging my somewhat ill-conceived attempt to mirror the live Supplemental Draft here in this thread.

The full results at a glace:

RAW: Mr. Kennedy, Primo, Nikki Bella, Hornswoggle, Chavo Guerrero, Carlito, Festus, The Brian Kendrick, Brie Bella

Smackdown: Shad Gaspard, Alicia Fox, Mike Knox, Candice Michelle, Ricky Ortiz, Layla, John Morrison, JTG, Dolph Ziggler, Charlie Haas

ECW: Ezekiel Jackson, Zack Ryder, DH Smith, Natalya, Hurricane Helms

Tag teams were split up during the draft only to be reunited at draft's end. Why? To build suspense. And annoy.

The method to WWE's madness seems apparent now. The Unified Tag Team Champions moved to RAW to eventually lose the belts to DiBiase and Rhodes. The Hart Foundation revivial/continuation gimmick seems a lock to happen on FCW 2, also known as ECW. Meanwhile, John Morrison is reunited with Melina on Smackdown, whom he seemed very much "together" with at the Hall of Fame in Houston. Maybe those two crazy kids got back together, and far away from Batista too,.

Counting the televised Draft on RAW, a total of 36 Superstars and Divas changed brands. To what end? Hopefully good ones. The truth is it matters less what show people are on than how they're booked on those shows.

-----

Here's where the thread actually started:

Mr. Kennedy to RAW, first draft pick.

I don't even remember him going to Smackdown.

I think he returned for one match after the DVD movie's release. It might not even have been a full match, might have just been interference. I am not enthused by him as he always seems hurt, and he can't build any momentum as a performer or a story element.

He and Mike Knox have virtually the same finisher (the Mic Check = the Knox Out), so I wonder what change we'll see there. Provided Knox doesn't go to SD, of course.

EDIT: And apparently Knox DID go to SD. Rey can't get rid of this guy.

Smackdown got the next two draft picks:

Shad Gaspard
Alicia Fox

Not bad, I guess.

JTG is good, but no hope in WWE as a single.

(Can you edit all the picks into your first pick when the draft is over, so people don't have to scoot thru the whole thread to pick them out?)

Of course.

Fourth draft pick: RAW selected Primo.

There goes one half the Unified Tag Team Champions. Even Howard Finkel on WWE Universe said he doesn't like this.

Kennedy had a handful of matches on Smackdown, including some decent long ones against Umaga and Shelton Benjamin.

Alicia Fox and Edge reunited!!

I've seen CrymeTyme live twice, and Shad brings nothing to the ring. NOTHING. He may very well get the bigger push because of his size, but JTG works his ass off.

Morrison and Miz, Carlito and Primo, Crymetime... how are they HELPING the Tag Team division by splitting up all the tag teams?

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

Who said they have any interest in helping the tag division?

Besides, they might still move JTG and/or Carlito later today. Or they might not. Who knows?

Mike Knox to Smackdown.
Ezekiel Jackson to ECW.
Nikki Bella to RAW.

I really feel for the moderators running the live chat on WWE Universe.com. They're doing their best to make this stuff interesting in kayfabe. Especially Howard Finkel. One day, I'd like to hear Fink shoot about WWE but that day will never come. Fink is too loyal and professional. But a Foley or Bret Hart-esque book by Finkel could be amazing. If only.

Candice Michelle to Smackdown.
Zack Ryder to ECW.

Funniest comments from the live chat so far are:

"Randy Ortons body is extremly oiled..."

"We wish the tag team division well on its future endeavors."

Chavo Guerrero to RAW. What a shock. If he doesn't go back to being Kerwin White, I'm not interested.

    Zack Ryder to ECW

This has got to be the annual bit where someone gets moved, and then cut three days later.

The best comments are by the professional draft analysts.

Craig Tello: The three stages of hell sounds like a trip to Vickie Guerrero's multi-level mansion.

Kate Raymond: Ouch, Craig. Ouch.

Corey Clayton: What if Big Zeke and Mark Henry join forces? Wow, that's a power tag team with title potential.

Kate Raymond: and add in Hall of Famer Tony Atlas to that mix!

The Fink: Corey, no tag teaming for 'zeke, The time for him is NOW to bust out. He is a future MAJOR player, and teaming him with Henry, although impressive, will harness him once again

The Fink: Zeke -vs- Henry would be very inteeresting!

Andrew Rote: It would be interesting. That match would make the Land of the Extreme shake

The Fink: On a lesser scale, kudos to Tiffany. Good pick

If there's only one tag team championship for the entire WWE roster, does it matter if the champions are on different brands?

Ricky Ortiz to Smackdown. (A Freddie Prinze Jr. favorite)

Craig Tello: I think Ricky Ortiz's hair and Mike Knox's beard will have trouble coexisting in the same locker room.

How do I get Vince McMahon to pay me to make comments like that?

Also, unless Carlito is drafted, his hair will have to coexist with Ortiz's.

Layla to Smackdown.

What will William Regal do without his strumpet?

Hornswaggle to RAW. There are no words...

DH Smith to ECW. I'm fuzzy on this. I guess DH never left the main roster listing for Smackdown despite being in developmental for most of the last year. Whatever. ECW is the right place for him.

Maybe DH Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natayla as a group? Just to balance assuming teams are broken up, I thought it'd be fun to assume teams are being created.

John Morrison to Smackdown. YES!

Carlito to RAW. The Tag Team Champions aren't dead after all.

Natalya to ECW. That Hart Foundation continuation may happen after all.

I hope he can stay away from Punk, because I'm burned out on that feud. But I have impossibly high hopes for Morrison as a singles wrestler.

Hey, he and Marlena are on the same show again.

So Smackdown has Jericho, Edge, CM Punk, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Umaga, Shelton Benjamin, Jeff Hardy, Brian Kendrick, Mike Knox with a Bruiser Brody head and now Miz and Morrison who I've been hearing nothing but raves about lately. Plus no Cena, Orton, Batista or HHH? Yeah, I might need to start watching regularly again.

I don't care how much they are, since I haven't bought one since WM20 and don't plan to from here on out unless they take a drastic upward turn in quality.
