I am completely and helplessly hooked on The WB's (soon to be CW's) Supernatural. Basic premise is that these two brothers deal with their differences to chase a demon that killed their mother and has consumed their father's life. But along the way, they weed out some creatures from urban legends and campfire ghost stories. It's got a pretty competitive time slot, Thursdays 9-10, but is anyone else watching it?
I caught a single episode way back when after an episode of Smallville (which I watch religiously). It was the one where they have to stop the demon from crashing an airplane. I actually enjoyed that episode a lot, but I got the feeling for some reason that the show's premise would run a little thin. I guess I just don't give the WB much credit. The only reason I gave the show a chance in the first place is because of Jensen Ackles, who used to be on Smallville.
If FFing through commercials ever becomes THAT common, it will just lead to more ads during the actual programs. You'd see a return to named sponsors for programs, which is already happening a little bit, and onscreen ad bugs.
