Did anyone catch the debut episode of Supergroup on VH1 last night? Basically they stick Ted Nugent, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Jason Bonham, Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard) & Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) in a house for 12 days so that they can come up with new music.
For those of you (like myself) that totally loathe Ted Nugent, this show will make you hate him even worse. He just comes of as a total dick (and I not talking in a politcal-Democrats-must-die way).
And Sebastian Bach thinks he's a bigger rock star than what he really is ...
Nonetheless, it's a total train wreck that's hard not to watch.
I will be taping this show. Jason Bonham came off as a true professional and Evan Seinfeld seems just as bad as his character from Oz. It was funny when he described Sebastian as being "like a gazelle."
So? It's *still* funny. And even more applicable than ever these days. American Dad is the only one that manages to move beyond the formula in spite of itself; and be almost always funny and creative from week to week.
