TWITTER! CHRIS BROWN!! TWITTER!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! TWITTER! #NOTNOPUNKS!! TWITTER!! FIRE LILLIAN!! TWIT MCTWITTY TWITTER!

Signed attention starved,

Michael Cole

Someone here on the W said that Cole needs a commentator foil badly. A Gorilla Monsoon to Cole's (for loose comparison's sake) Bobby Heenan. Booker does a horrible job at this since he usually can't make a point and back up his reasoning fast enough, or at all, without Cole burying him. Josh Matthews may as well not even be there. Not only that but Cole constantly talks and yells over them, and Booker and Josh don't even try to retort. Half way through the show I thought Cole was doing commentary by himself to himself. Could we please get new commentators. Cole's heel gimmick would work in a three man setting if you two people who could play off of it well.

Basically I want Scott Stanford and William Regal to take over for 2/3 of the announce team.

Oh yah! Johnny Ace killed with his imitation of Teddie Long's "My drunk grandpa at the family reunion" dance.

Oh man. I LOL'ed like a madman when he came out doing that. It was especially awesome because A.) there was no music playing, and B.) Johnny maintained his stoic, 'Thinker' face despite the fact that he was gettin' jiggy wit it.

Now that I think about it, the man needs some theme music, no? Eric Bischoff had his own theme and TitanTron video (so does Teddy Long for that matter), why no love for Big Johnny? It'd be interesting to see how small they'd have to make the font to wedge 'Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Monday Night Raw' into the video.

Just put Statler and Waldorf next to Cole.

Or, and this would be the better solution, get rid of Cole completely and use any combination of Scott Stanford, William Regal, or Josh Matthews.

It would be even funnier if all that took up the whole screen over whatever his entrance video was, or maybe just use blinking black font over a plain white background.

I didn't. I just thought the sentence rolled better without adding the qualifier that they already did it. Of the two, this was the better, more memorable match anyway.

Although, RAW is slightly less throwing it away than putting it on SyFy. :)

As much as I like both guys, they would not be the participants in any potential unification match. They are way down the pecking order for a match of that magnitude. Would be fun to watch, though!

I am still baffled that they are allowing Bryan to go into WM with the belt, even if it is the B show belt. I say that as a fan of the guy, I just can't believe WWE is going with him.

I too really liked the Miz/Bryan interaction. It tied a nice bow on everything. Miz is vain enough to associate Bryan's success with his own, Bryan is vain enough to accept his praise. Plus Miz conceivably was genuinely proud of Bryan for becoming a cheater and a jerk. Cole is getting on board too. Who would've thought Alex Riley would be the goody two-shoes loser of this NXT dynasty?

Hell, you got three finishes, one for each champion and one where they both won. The champions delivered an outstanding PPV quality match and set up this One GM to Rule Them All storyline.

Yeah, acknowledging that I wouldn't book champion vs. champion as a random TV main in the first place, I thought it was all pretty nifty. It's not like they made the match to determine one true champion and then undermined it, they made the match to forward the OGMTRTA storyline, in one ring to bind them.

Just really lazy to me, especially Show vs. Henry, where the announcers didn't even bother to care that no winner was announced. Just bizarre.

EDIT: Oh, and Teddy Long forces Ace and Otunga to use the bathroom as their office for the evening...and we got NO skits of them working in there? I figured that would've made for instant comedy.

You haven't seen the BMO's men's rooms, Gee. (Ok, in reality they're not bad but filming would still probably be a bitch to do)

I guess I'm seeing it differently regarding the main event here.  It was a hell of a match live and the ending pushed Teddy Long vs. Johnny Ace along better than Otunga/Jackson.  I mean, D-Bry even broke out I HAVE TIL 5~!

Laurinaitis steppin' was just as funny in person as it played back on TV.  Him and Otunga are my guilty pleasures and if it leads to a much better heel stable than anything Vickie's been able to bring forward, fine by me.

Outside of Eve's not-seen-on-TV cemented heel turn, you missed another vintage Lillian Garcia moment.  During a commercial break, they did a "sign of the night" portion.  One of the signs read "RKO/VIPER" to which Lillian repeats and says, "we just saw that."  What she was referring to was Santino's cobra segment.  That's our Lillian!

The main event was the best match I've seen in a long time, and the screwy finish made sense; you save the champion beating the other champion for PPV.

Cody Rhodes/Big Show is way too entertaining to me.
