I'm marking the fuck out here so bear with me. Just got the new Maxim issue and they have an article about a new VH1 show about the formation of a band with the following lineup. You ready?
Sebastian Bach (Skid Row)- Vocals Ted Nugent(The Fukin Nuge Man !!!)- Guitar Scott Ian (Anthrax)- Guitar Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard)- Bass Jason Bohnam (Bohnam & Son Of The Almighty John Bonahm (Zepplin)- Drums
It's just a message board but it was all I could find. Apparently these guys have already done a show in Vegas. I could copy and paste more but check out the set list yourself.
Again I didn't find the article on Maxim Online or any other hits about this. If anyone else thinks this is as fucking awesome as I do maybe we can find out more info. Or pick up a Maxim at 7-11. Hell, Jamie Lynn Sigler is on the damn cover although I must say that she is not showing nearly enough skin in the pictorial IMO.
Aaaaaaanyway, THERE MUST BE A DVD OF THE CONCERT AND NOT THE DAMN SERIES THOUGH! Or I could hope they might actually tour if this blows up. I mean it's no celebrity cooking but it might just catch some heat.
Ted Nugent is a great musician and possibly the most talented of bunch, but his style doesn't seem to fit with the rest. I would imagine the other guys would have to adapt more to his style of playing than he would to theirs. Although, he did try something new with Damn Yankees.
I'm hoping that Sebastian Bach still has the pipes he did fifteen years ago. I can't wait to see this on television.
While we're waiting for today's CRZ video to upload, let's all enjoy gusgus - or if you like, Gus Gus - recorded for Seattle's KEXP but graciously shared on YouTube for you and I, BY them, earlier this week.
