If the Giants D is as "hard hitting" as the pundits like to say, there's a fair chance they could get to Brady and if he gets knocked out of the game, their chances increase dramatically.
Actually, Davis is in the last year of his contract, and was getting buried beneath Bryant, Northcutt, and Edwards. once Josh Cribbs showed he was *stellar* at the kickoff game, Davis' duties were no longer necessary.
