Very true. But blitzing = single coverage on Fitz and Q = uh oh.

Cards 26, Steelers 17. Fitzgerald between 150-180 yards receiving, 100 by halftime. Tim Hightower too many touchdowns.

We could always talk wanting the ball and intending to score... :-)

I'm struggling with how to nicely call you an idiot for trying to dis a Patriots fan with THAT, but I can't so I'll let it pass.

On-topic - at this point we're at 13 picks for the Stillers and nine for the Cards, if my math is correct.*

DISCLAIMER: My math may be incorrect.

I don't think we'll see a lot of heavy blitzing from Pittsburgh for that reason. Warner picks apart blitzes and the Steelers have gotten good pressure this year just rushing four and playing cover 2. I know their reputation is the crazy blitzes with LeBeau is the mad scientist, but it's kind of like the "Steelers are gonna pound it" identity that hasn't really existed for a couple years.

I'll go Pittsburgh 34-24 with Big Ben winning MVP honors to make up for his first SB performance. If not him, then Polomalu for making some crazy plays like he did against the Ravens.

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week.

"Mangini might not have had balls, but he DID have soft, supple breasts." (SEADAWG)

Let's see... the Cardinals have won all year going pass-wacky, then they win the NFC champeenship with a good old-fashioned run-oriented drive. Eh, what the hell:

Cardinals - 42
Steelers - 28

I think the Cards get up on the Steelers early and basically trade TDs throughout the second half. Warner throws 5 TDs, earns MVP and solidifies his place in the HoF. Fitz and Q both go for over 100 and Edge finds the fountain of youth and runs for 90+.

The Cardinals, unbelievably, will shut down Parker and the running game, and then will blitz Big Ben as the Steelers fall behind.

This game is going to shock the world. And no, I am not a Cardinals fan. But boy, am I pulling for them. A win by the Cards would do wonders for the NFL.

"Marriage is like that show Everybody Loves Raymond, but its not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."

Kurt Warner gets spooked by Pittsburgh's rush and reverts to the non-devil-deal-making Kurt Warner (I mean how do YOU explain his rise from grocery stockboy to Super Bowl MVP? God-given talent? :-D ) of the past few years and the Steelers win 31-14.

If the refs get involved (like during the last Steelers "win" - kidding), Steelers 41, Cards 10. Hah! (Go Seahawks!)

Mock Jesus at your peril!
That recipe looks scrumptious and alternately that recipe's comments look so saccharine as to induce scrumptious vomiting.

So can't wait.

For the game. Of course.

Oh, liked Zona before everyone else decided they did too, not it's not so much of a "no one expected us to win" thing so I'll take Pittsburg.

Springsteen plays "The Wrestler", then plays it safe with "Dancing In The Dark" and the two "Born..." songs.

Say what you will about Eli but dammit, he got the job done today. And the defense put Brady on lockdown. This definitely makes up for the Knicks. :)
