I'm not a big commercial guy but what does Nationwide want from me? Was that a really expensive PSA? Am I supposed to buy insurance? I have a small child, and yeah, I mean I can't imagine but what the fuck you can't just have Peyton Manning hum your tune in normal life situations again?
I didn't pay a ton of attention because of my Super Bowl nerves, but I liked the Avocado commercial.
OK, being on the other side of the world where this game doesn't matter, I didn't see any of it (even if I got cable or went to a bar showing it, we'd get a different broadcast). But I watched the spots you guys recommended via YT. Snickers FTW. I've always liked that series, and this was a brilliant extension of it. Trejo and Buscemi were both really good.
Invisible Mindy was really good, too, but mostly because Mindy rules. The rest, meh.
The dead kid Nationwide ad was getting killed on twitter. As it should. I must have missed the Avengers 2 ad. Jurassic World looks interesting, not good, but interesting. Earth's draft could have gone on for hours. The ads were good enough which is better than most year.

I don't think there was an Age Of Ultron ad...I didn't see it, I haven't seen anything about it after the fact. There was just the TV ad that debuted in the middle of last week.
Maybe they thought there was already enough Evil James Spader in the commercial breaks already. :)
I've never even watched "Breaking Bad" and I recognized the reference immediately, giving esurance my favorite commercial of the night. I liked their Lohan ad too, though I didn't realize it was her.
The criticism of using a song by a guy who died in a car accident in a car ad overshadowed Nissan's unveiling the next generation Maxima at the end. That was an unexpected surprise in the auto industry.
Say what you will about Fiat's "little blue pill" ad, I think the 500x will triple their US sales overnight when it's released.
