Is it safe to say that Jeff Hardy is the Most Improved Wrestler of 2009?
He's been generally pretty excellent ever since coming back to WWE, but last fall he finally made it all the way to the top, Edge-style, as an accepted headliner. And he delivered big, even moreso over the last four months. Overdelivered even.
It started with the Orton feud at the beginning of '08, but I think the match he had with Triple H at No Mercy was what finally convinced them that he couldn't be denied. After that match they wanted to shunt him aside for Kozlov but the fans wouldn't let them.
The one thing about WWE having the same guys on top is that they've actually made two brand new main eventers over the last year: heel Jericho and Jeff Hardy. (Things are looking good for CM Punk too.) They just don't seem new because they were upper midcarders in perpetuity, but now they're both made men.
He's probably even the WWE wrestler of the year.
He has my endorsement.

Jeff not only made it big, but he should also get a lot of credit for making CM Punk legit. Of course this could all be ruined depending on how The Undertaker feels.
I would also think merchandise sales are going to take a huge hit. Who sells more stuff than Hardy? Cena? Maybe Triple H? | | Pages: Prev 1 2
