A cock tease, a cock punch, as sugary as Hawaiian Punch, and about as beneficial.
That's the super clever sound byte I came up with to describe Sucker Punch. Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what the hell the point of it all was, but it's pretty much what the trailers and ads describe. I sort of enjoyed it for what it was, but I also like it the least of Zack Snyder's movies. I would say see it if you are already inclined to, if you're into this sort of thing.
Thank God for friends that work at movie theaters. I saw it for free but I think I deserve a refund. I think the major problem Sucker Punch had was that the movie tried to be three totally different films at once. I got the connection between them, but it still made an hour of the film unnecessary.
The best part of the film was identifying the song covers in the film. Other than that the film is a test in patience.
R. Kelly's latest 'hit'(?) is "Trapped in a Closet" where its like an opera split across 10 songs, all sung by R. Kelly. I'm not even sure how to begin to describe it. I know VH1 has been airing the videos in half-hour specials.
