WW/VC North America (Monday, September 15) - Stong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People (SBCG4AP) Episode Two: Strong Badia the Free (Telltale Games, 1,000 Wii Points) - Potpourii (Abstraction Games, 800 Wii Points) - Mega Man 2 (NES, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)
Wii North America (Tuesday, September 16) - TNA Impact! - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Rebel Raiders - Kidz Sports: Crazy Golf - Igor - Zoo Hospital
Great. I was really hoping that between Rock Band 2 and The Force Unleashed, I wouldn't have to worry about unplugging my 360 to switch it out for the Wii (an unfinished Super Mario RPG, notwithstanding).
And then Nintendo has to trot out Strong Bad. Damn you, Nintendo! And damn YOU, Microsoft! Damn you both for giving me three games to split my attention this week.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, Strong Bad won't take up more than an afternoon of your time.
I'm more curious as to why you're getting Force Unleashed for the 360 instead of the Wii. Isn't the Wii version supposed to be a bunch cooler (because of the motion sensing)?
It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects.
VC/WW Japan (Tuesday, September 16) - Space Invaders: The Original Game (Super Famicom, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) - Sorcerian (Mega Drive, 1 player, 700 Wii Points) - Mizubaku Adventure (Liquid Kids; PC Engine, 1 player, 600 Wii Points) - Kappa-kun to Asobou: Kappa-kun to Mori no Nakamatachi (1 player, 600 Wii Points)
So I bought The Price is Right for the Wii because... I'm stupid, I guess? Or a mark for my own childhood. Really, the game does a very faithful job of recreating The Price is Right, despite having neither Drew nor Bob. There are all the pricing games and the big wheel and everything. You can play classic mode (exactly like the TV show) or Three Strikes mode; in that mode, you play games in order: Contestant's Row, random pricing game, The Big Wheel, and (if you win on the Big Wheel) The Showcase Showdown. Every time you lose on Contestant's Row, the Big Wheel, or the Showcase Showdown, you get a strike - three strikes and you're out. I haven't tried the Party Game mode yet, but I think it works like a multiplayer Three Strikes mode.
There's also a challenge associated with each pricing game - beat a challenge and you unlock a video clip. Beat all challenges and you unlock the ability to skip directly to the pricing games. The challenges are not impossible but will take some time - win over $10,000 in Plinko, or beat Cliff Hangers in under ten steps (I did both of those, which made me a bit sad as I wanted more yodelling).
No Mii integration, which is a shame. The game just uses its own avatars.
Really, the issue with the game is that TPiR just doesn't lend itself well to being a video game. Just look at the show - the fun parts are bookended by boring ol' Contestant's Row, and if you DO make it up on stage, you might get one of the crappy games.
So this was probably not worth $39. And yet, the first time I spun the big wheel, I realized had the HUGEST grin.
