As reported several days ago, both Todd Grisham and Matt Striker had deaths in their families that kept them off two separate WWE broadcasts. We can now confirm that both men lost their fathers tragically, and completely coincidentally.
In the case of Todd Grisham, his father was apparently riding his bike when he was hit by a drunk driver and killed. The driver of the car has since been arrested.
Matt Striker's father was reportedly eating a peach when the pit suddenly went down the wrong pipe causing him to choke. He was then hospitalized where doctors surprisingly discovered a totally unrelated aneurysm. They performed a surgery that reportedly went well, however shortly after Striker's father went into a coma that he had been in for several weeks while Matt continued to call ECW broadcasts. His father then passed away last weekend.
Wrestlezone would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of both Grisham and Striker.
How horrible, and then to go right back to work. Well, at least they have something in common now.
The problem is that Flair's drawing value drops a LOT when he turns heel. It's happened everytime he's turned heel in the past 5 years. At least this time he'll finally put Austin over, like he should've done 7 years ago.
