Crosby, I believe, had a recurrence of symptoms from his original problems at the final stage of his recovery. It sucks, and could portend worse things, but he just has to wait it out and get better.

As long as Sid doesn't get a mis-diagnosed punctured lung to go along with all the concussions...
Sid could be on his way to being the next Pat LaFontaine and not the next 99 or 66.

He would match Mario and really that is about a high as honor as you can get the in Burgh while not being part of the Steel Curtain. He is already a legend in Pittsburgh and he is not going to go broke, we hope. He really has nothing to prove. Lindros kept coming back, because he wanted the cup. To me, Sid fulfilled his promise as the Chose One with the Cup win, he doesn't need to do anything else. Plus, you know Malkin and Staal are pretty fucking good too.
