The first season (12 episodes) of "Dexter" will air Sundays on CBS beginning Feb. 17th. They'll appear in the "Shark" timeslot.
After bringing back "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," NBC is mining USA for originals again - Sundays will soon see a block of "Monk" and "Psych" beginning in March. They SAY these plans were in place before the strike, but we can roll our eyes at that one. During its first two seasons, "Monk" used to get second airings on ABC, so file that away in your trivia bank.
This is all old news, but NEW TO ME - also, seeing the "Dexter" ad during the football game reminded me to mention it.
Haven't heard about any "repurposing" for the other networks...yet.
Is it possible to judge how good an adaptation is without having read the source material? I am not asking about judging the adaptation on its own merits, rather I am asking whether you can judge how faithful the adaptation was to the source material?
