Might be worth checking out. Can't go wrong with free admission.
Did you see the other wrestler themed film poster next to Sting?
It seems anybody can get a movie deal now!
"Britain, Britain, Britain, land of technological achievement. We’ve had running water for over 10 years, an underground tunnel that links us to Peru and we invented the cat. But none of these inventions would have been possible if it had not been for the people of Britain and it’s those people we look at today.
I think they used the WCW footage illegally. There's NO WAY the WWE would allow that much of their footage to be used in a low-budget indy flick about a wrestler they've never employed. Especially one that doesn't portray wrestling in the greatest light. Even if they offered the WWE a 90% cut, it wouldn't be in the E's best interest. They've got their own film company to create films the way they want to.
I noticed they used pics of his appearance in TNA on the flash intro on the movie's site. Maybe they tried to keep the WCW footage to a minimum (even though all of the clips in the trailer were WCW clips), and used mostly TNA clips and re-creations. What's up with the scene of Sting being held down and cut? wow. And the guy that plays "young Sting" reminded me of David Flair, I guess it was the bleached blonde hair.

I believe the technical term is called bullshit.
Really, even in a fictional sense, for them to claim that Sting had it all until everything came crashing down is a bit much. Now Jake Roberts, he could give a BA level course in Everything Crashing Down.
The sad thing is that an actual movie about the career of Sting would probably be very interesting, from his beginning in the Bladerunners with Ultimate Warrior and Eddie Gilbert. But this thing has cheesy propaganda written all over it.

Well, we've been hearing for years that the two sides have gotten together for talks off and on, but never that he's going to come back. Who says any of that was for a "Sting Return" like we all thought. Maybe they were working out a deal as to how much footage he could use, as long as they saw how it was going to be used?
According to SEC filings from yesterday, the WWE said that it may settle a class-action suit filed against it and the company's underwriters, somehow associated with their 1999 IPO. Apparently, its not unique to WWE.
