I post this cause I notice he comes up in a few other post with people asking "where is he now?"

Well, he did an radio interview about a month ago, and he said the reason he was cut from WWF/E is because he was hurt too much. He didn't show it on screen but he was in pain off camera. And he still isn't over it today. He still has pains and thinks they will follow him around for the rest of his life.

He said when he left WWE to check into the hospital too get checked he was still being paid by WWF/E for a while but finally WWF/E contacted him saying he was going to be cut and that was that.

He had some weird problem with either chronic headaches or backaches. I can't remember exactly which.

Probably a chronic headache from the antics of that wacky Al Snow.

Hauling those dead bodies all the way to the abandoned mine shafts in Pennsylvania while maintaining a WWF road schedule couldn't have been easy on his back

From what I remember, his back was really screwed up. But Shane was a supporter of Steve so he stayed on board for a long time even while not on camera. But I guess he is gone now. I had no problem with Steve. I always thought he was entertaining and his gimmick was cool. Just never really was in a good enough angle, IMO.
