... and he's opening the show singing and acting goofy - dancing like MC Hammer now. No joke.

No "What"s yet - from what I've seen so far.

Can you dig it, sucka?

He said a few whats while singing, I think...

I don't think any segment he's been in so far has been funny. (As of right now, it's the Politically Incorrect segment.)

I noticed he paused during the intro expecting "Whats" that he didn't get.

It was an ok show. Not really that great, but I enjoyed most of the second half.

I agree. It seemed to pick up with the Family Feud segment.

The only sketch I really liked was the last one with Will Sasso as Austin w/Debra doing the infomercial. The HHH episode was better.

So I take it this didn't touch The Rock's appearance on SNL?

No.

Not even close. Austin's just not in his element in these things, and it doesn't help that the Mad TV cast isn't exactly what you'd call sidesplittingly funny. Sasso's pretty good, but past him...

I really liked the trailer skit, that was the best one in my view. The family Fued skit was the worst. The fitness infomercial was ok.

The FIRST time MadTV did the "Family Feud" skit was much much funnier ... In this one they just had Louie Anderson pretending he was a fag.

Not funny ... The whole episode seemed off; nothing seemed to click.

    Neither does SNL.

    True that.

But Funny Rock + Unfunny Cast = Good SNL

Unfunny Austin + Unfunny Cast = Blah Mad TV

Well, I'd say the 'Taker is the best big man ever, but Glen Jacobs has shown that he can pull out a good match when he needs to. And it's great to hear some positive press about a wrestler as opposed to the usual dreck that's peddled as fact.
