I just got done reading this, the latest by Stephen King. He's been pretty busy for a guy who retired a few years ago.

Very good story. You aren't sure what the main plot is; instead the focus is on the gradual change of the protaganist. The last half of the book is where the action is, but you won't mind.

607 pages of hardcover, but recommended for King fans.

Blackest Night is turning out pretty cool. I'm actually glad it's starting out relatively slow. There's lots of stuff happening, but it's not slam-bam-here-there action all over the place which is cool.
