Stephanie work has earned her a promotion to Vice-President of the creative staff according to 411wrestling.

So I guess Vince is not the one calling all the shots(Running down the company).

Anybody know what Shane does these days?

One of these days I would like to see what an average work week is like in the WWE front office.

Yep...always wanna promote mediocrity and downturns in business with more money and fancy titles...

Wanna know what a buisness week in the WWE is like...

"Gee Vince, you're absolutely right!"
"I think that's a great ideal, Stephanie!"
"That'll certainly turn the ratings around Vince!"
"How did you get to be so smart Stephanie?"
"I love this ideal, Vince! Lets implement it right away!"
"Wrestling, what's that?"
"You know what this fued needs? A love triangle!"
"We need to get Albert/Big Show/Rikishi over...someone find Benoit!"

Copy and paste that 100 times...then 7 more times. A week behind the scenes.

dosen't sound like much of a promotion according to this Observer report from a few weeks back:

WWE sent out an internal memo last week announcing the promotions of the senior management. This includes Jim Ross (talent relations), Kevin Dunn (television promotion), Stephanie McMahon (creative), and Ed Kauffman (legal affairs).

Ross, Dunn and Kauffman were promoted from Vice President to Executive Vice President. Stephanie was promoted from Director of creative to Vice President of Creative.

The duties will be about the same, as the promotions seem to be in name only.

There was some in WWE who felt it was interesting that the McMahons would laud Stephanie’s work in creative in a company-wide memo.

Well, 411 via the Torch then goes on to say...

Stephanie McMahon was recently promoted to Vice President of Creative in WWE, but that doesn’t mean she has tons of input to the show scripts.

Stephanie has reportedly been spending more time in executive meetings rather than in the writing crew offices.

No word on what is the cause of this change.

Well, at least we know she didn't sleep with the boss to get the promotion. Oh wait, that'll happen during sweeps month.

They kind of have no choice but to laud Stephanie's work. Her dad is their boss, and she's more or less their boss as well. What choice do they have? That's pretty much the key thing in the WWE circle jerk that needs to be fixed in order for anything to change.

The people below Vince and Stephanie are the ones that need to convince them to change, but due to politics, there's no way they can do it.

I can't wait for Stephanie to be promoted to "Executive Vice President of Creative", then "President of Creative." There's plenty more titles for them to make up.

I can think of a way top convince Steph and Vince to step away from the book quietly... But it involves high-powered rifles, triangulation and lifetime imprisonment for the patsy.

You know who truly needs to step in??? BENOIT. He's already slept with a booker's wife! All he needs to do is clear it with the wife (who we ALL realize is a phreak anyway from her previous marriage to Kevin Sullivan) and nail Stephanie and snatch the book from her. At least I could deal with Benoit and his buddies as a "clique" and running WWE.

I just had to smoke a cigarette and wear a hat
By the time that they set off again, the sun was starting to set
It made the sky look red like a nuclear ray
One of them said "what do you want more than anything
in this whole wide world
Do you want money, do you want sex, or do you want all that success?"
I thought about that one myself

This name-juggling could be the precurser to a shifting around of personell in those areas... perhaps the "Executive VP" titles are there to differentiate these folks from incoming "lesser" VP's of, say, the Smackdown/Raw creative teams?

There's a chance that either some new blood's coming in, or that duties are being restructured. This could be a good thing...

Gotta disagree with you there. There's definetely been a retraction of H-osity from Raw in recent months. If they can learn Hunter may not be the answer, it leaves hope that they can learn more.

You know, that was the most obvious and quite possibly the dumbest post I've ever read.
