NEW YORK (Reuters) -- Owen Wilson will join Ben Stiller in "Starsky & Hutch," an action comedy set for a February start, Variety reports.
The Warner Bros. film takes its inspiration from the ABC series with Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and David Soul (Hutch), which bowed in 1975. Stiller is playing Starsky and Wilson will play Hutch.
Glaser and Soul played hip, streetwise cops with a well-drawn relationship often credited for the show's four-year run. The feature will be contemporized and will be updated and will focus on the formation of the duo's partnership.
Todd Phillips ("Road Trip"), who wrote the last draft of the script with Scott Armstrong, will direct.
Stiller and Wilson have worked together several times, including on pictures "The Royal Tenenbaums," "Zoolander" and "Meet the Parents."

You see this? You see how my body's glowing like that? Yeah... a lot of people can't do that. Come get some of this glowing. Oh, okay, you. You want some. You want some of the glowing. Look, man... your soul... I'm going to totally floss with it and chew on your spirit. I read that somewhere. But I'll do it.

Much like if the Dukes of Hazzard were to have another car outside of ~THE GENERAL LEE.
Stiller and Wilson? The odds of this being funny is quite good.
