The Force Awakens is the title. What it means, I am not sure since you would think Luke has been teaching people unless its the start of him training. No, clue, but the main theme is in my head now.

My kneejerk reaction was to not like it, since it felt a bit too generic. It's grown on me in the last couple hours, though, since I haven't been able to think of a better "ttiel."

Everything is awesome.

First thought: It doesn't matter what they call it because my son and wife and I will see it as soon as possible and then see it repeatedly.

Second thought: Implicit acknowledgement of the passage of time since RotJ. Nice.

Third thought: My God, we're getting a new Star Wars movie.

Put it this way: it sure beats the hell out of 'Attack of the Clones.'

"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball

I think it fits with both "A New Hope" and "The Phantom Menace" and that the Force "Awakening" (or, Re-Awakening) is probably what would happen after the Jedi Return, so I think it's a good first step.

They intentionally didn't choose Re-Awakening. I know I'm over-extrapolating from one small phrase, but what if the Force as its been known all throughout Star Wars history (so, the last sixty or so years movie time, since everything else has been gutted from the canon) has been 'asleep'. Just what could it be that it is awakened? Does everyone become a jedi (hey, now they can set an MMO in the 'modern' star wars times and not have to deal with Jedi rarity -- not that MMO's are the cash cows they once were thought to be...) or is the Force itself the villain to come in the next trilogy. (which sounds awesome but... what???) At the very least, this is intriguing.

I like it! I will also be using the phrase "in my pants" everytime I see or hear it, but I still like it. I have a lot more hope for this film than I did for TPM or AOTC.

Also, lol at 'Ttiel'.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

Speaking of Ttiels, I see that for the DVD release, they have changed the Tom Cruise movie to "Live. Die. Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow". That's what it should have been anyway.
