Huh? Didnt know he was coaching.

Stanford hired former NFL quarterback Jim Harbaugh on Monday to take over its struggling football program.

Harbaugh had spent the last three years as head coach at the University of San Diego, a non-scholarship Division I-AA program. He led the Toreros to a 29-6 record, winning 27 of his final 29 games at San Diego.

That's okay, I forgot Walt Harris was coaching at Stanford in the first place. Too bad, I liked him at tOSU and Pitt.

I was surprised because he hasn't been at USD that long and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving around this time last year.

Of course, his father was a pretty good coach for Western KY so I wish them all the best at the "Harvard of the West"

It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them.

Did you miss my entire point? When there was 16 teams, the lack of creampuff teams and 6-6 teams fighting for playoff berths were significantly lower, I bet. 32 is fine. 8 divisions of 4 teams each.
