We leave on the two week road trip to DisneyWorld in two weeks. I am not sure if I am looking forward to that or not - that's a lot of driving with three kids in the car.
1) Graduating college and moving to Boston 2) The week preceding graduation, known to Clarkson U as "Senior" week, and known to the local bars and beverage centers as "We're gonna make up for all the low summer profits" week. 3) Running to school and back every day instead of driving 4) Not having to lug coats, hats, gloves around campus all day 5) Trading boots for Birkenstocks 6) Leaving windows open
But some bad things: 1) THE MUD SHALL OVERTAKE THE WORLD 2) Mosquitos are back. I freakin HATE mosquitos 3) Finals week comes before Senior week

The beginning of golf season, both on TV and when I can get out and play at the Par 3 nine-hole course close to my house.
Also, it's time to play football. I'll be doing that tomorrow in fact. And I can wear shorts to work (okay, I do that in winter as well but I get less looks and less "You're gonna get pneumonia" comments).

DOn't remind me of mosquitos, or any small flying insect. They appeared seemingly overnight, because I walked (well, cycled) head first into a swarm of them yesterday heading home from work. I mean, they weren't there the day before, and they weren't there that morning.
I'm very thankful that I wear glasses.

Maybe getting a puppy in late May if we are lucky to do both.
Guru, please consider your local shelter or a breed specific rescue group in your quest for a puppy. If you really have to go through a breeder, please check them out and make sure that they treat their animals with respect and love. Too many breeders don't care for their animals - they overbreed and don't treat the animals well.
University of Kentucky basketball isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.

Agreed. And add to that they inbreed like mad for a certain look and it tends to destroy the intellegence and long-term health of the animal.

An end to the weekly rain storms we've had since Christmas. I don't pay the overly-inflated rental rates of Santa Barbara for this crap. 70˚ and sunny, dammit!
Seriously, yet another three days of rain starting today, two days of sun, and then four more days of rain. I don't think we've seen a week without some rain since January.

I stay for the credits and I find myself compelled to actually read them. If I see a funny name I'll chuckle about that, but in general just marvel about how many people it took to make those 90 to 120 minutes I just watched.
