Bill Simmons, known as the Sports Guy on ESPN Page Two, should cover the five biggest WWF ppv's of the year for Slash....the guy is hilarious....what does everyone think?

No. Anyone who says The Hurricane is one of the worst gimmicks in the WWF is someone I can't respect. I mean, the Hurricane as one of the worst? What's up with that?

Yeah he did rip the Hurricane, but The Sports Guy is consistantly one of the funniest sportswriters around. He makes random WWF references in his other columns. I think he did a similar recap last year for a PPV.

The Sports Guy is hilarious. I love his random references to the WWF in his articles. I had a similar thread to this under the "Random" heading.

As a defensive wrestling fan, he bugs me. However, take his writing for only comedic value, and yeah, he's pretty funny.

yeah I liked his stuff, but unfortunatly he is becoming a little to smarkish for my taste..

Maybe because he didn't give the proper props for Trish and her efforts.

Simmons has been writing about wrestling since his bostonsportsguy.com days ... He wrote a tribute to Owen Hart that was better than anything the "wrestling journalists" could come up with.

One of the problems about discussing selling and no-selling is that people are using the word for so many different things. For the sake of argument, why don't we assign seperate words to the different kinds of "selling": Bumping:
