The Sporting News site is running S-o-M simulations, and one of my teams really sucks. However, you might get a kick out of this boxscore....(mine are the Nationals)..

Nice work by the bullpen, there.

I loved the Start-o-matic and Statis Pro Baseball board games when I was a kid.

Washington Huskies, 2003 Pac-10 football champs. Coming soon.

Good lord, Eddie. Nice pitchers duel.

I too played the Statis-Pro baseball as a youngster. Still have the cards tucked away in the attic, too.

I was a big Strat-O-Matic guy. Used to fight with my brother about how much he could use the guys who only got 70 at-bats and hit .320.

I'd get into playing Strat online from time to time...but $25 for an eight-week season sounds more than a bit steep, and I don't know that I'd want to play quite that much anyway. Anyone know of a free option where you could just play a game once in a while?

Don't know anything other than a cheaper 7-game head-to-head game they have...

My Dad would take the 77 Cubs, start Rick Reuschel for one batter, then bring in Bruce Sutter the rest of the way.:)

I was a big fan of Statis-pro. My brother, a couple of friends and I would run 5 loss elimination tournaments with that game. LOVED IT!!!

Maddux doesn't like the way Javy calls the game, he's always had his own personal catcher. When did Sosa play the race card? I know Canseco did, but I doubt that Sammy was calling ol' Jose up on the phone begging for him to come to his defense.
