Nice spoiler!

Anyway, I agree that Lorne will probably be the one to go, if any of them. You've got Angel/Cordy/Connor in a messed up love triangle (liked the Oedipus reference last night), and you've got Gunn/Fred/Wesley. I agree that Gunn sort of lost his focus lately (maybe I just don't like him being all jealous and pissy lately), but I can't see them offing anyone involved in those relationships. That leaves Lorne all by his lonesome.

Then again, I could see them offing Cordelia to get her off the show while Charisma's pregnant, and they'll figure out how to resurrect her after she gives birth. We still don't know all the details about what happened when she left that other plane.

Then again, they could use someone's death as a way to resolve the whole love triangle issue. What a nobler way to go than Wesley taking one for Fred and dying all Sydney Carton style, knowing that he couldn't have her anyway. (Although, that kiss might show otherwise... Would Gunn go and give himself up so Fred and Wesley could be together?)

Was I the only one who was impressed at how bad ass Connor is getting? The tourist part at the beginning of the ep, and then when he was standing up to Angelus (and being just as cold back at him) was rather nifty. I was almost worried that Angelus would charge him and Connor would bust that stake out that he had up his sleeve and then it'd be bye bye daddy.

The more I think back to last night's ep, the more I like it. Next week looks sick.

High tide for the time being.

Connor still bothers me with his arrogance and immaturity. He was that close to releasing Angelus from the cell to fight him. He'll probably do that next week. I liked Angelus' Oedipus reference. He's a very cultured evil bastard, but that's how we like it.

I say Gunn bites the dust because it frees the potential Fred/Wesley relationship, but they will feel too guilty to pursue it. The Crouching Tiger plot, if you will.

After sitting around at work all day thinking about this, I have another new theory about who dies on Angel. What is Angelus kills someone, only to sire them immediately thereafter? None of the cast is *lost*, but someone does in fact die? If this is the scenario, I'm thinking that Angelus would probably sire Connor. Connor has been impacted by both men who have been his fathers, but with the split between Angel and Angelus so pronounced, its like they aren't the same person. Connor even said that Angelus was his real father, not Angel. So why not reinforce that bond, and unite them in evil? If Connor is Angelus' son, he's got to have the same type of conniving evil within him that Angelus does. Plus, when Angel gets his soul back, he will now be faced with the fact that his son in now evil, and, if anything, killing him will be his responsibility (the prophesy), which would be worse than Angelus just offing him himself. And of course, there's the irony of turning Connor into the very thing that he was raised to despise. This is exactly the twisted kind of thing that Angelus (and Joss) would do.

I don't think that will work because we're not even sure of what Connor is in the first place. He is the child of two vampires and he does have special powers, so he may not be exactly human.

Plus that time travelling demon admitted to forging the prophecys, so he could trick Wes.

I like the sire idea however, I agree Conner is probably already part vamp to being with. I'm not really sure what Conner is, but I think he is probably immune to that. I will say the death of Cordy seems to be my favorite now.

A Fan- Wow, to think I am looking forward to Angel this week.

KNEW Giles wouldn't be dead. Ripper is money in the british bank.

Deathpool in my head says Gunn or Conner.

Jesus I wish Oz would show up just once before it's all said and done.

We got a deathpool going? Probably gonna be Fred, Gunn, or Lorne. I'm guessing Gunn, since he'd have the least to do assuming he and Fred hit splitsville. Fred and Lorne both have a use outside of whatever romantic entanglements they're involved in, while Gunn's wisecracking badass fighter role is rapidly being taken over by Wes.

The rest are too important to be killed. Of course, that's never stopped them before.

Lorne's involved in romantic entaglements?

When did that happen?

One of these days I'll have to share my Amy Acker, before they were stars story...

I really, really like this idea. Hmm, I'm starting to think that someone on either show will be vamped by the end of the season. Just a feeling...

Jkyle.com says:

More Death Pool rambling...

Conner is quite human, but if he CAN cross over (OOPS Forever Knight flashback there) his power as a vamp would be ungodly. If Conner CAN turn then it's probably him to die. But what about that baby (Bongo's theory which sounds sound if you think about it) him and Cordy might have made?

Maybe Carpenter wants out and it's her but I doubt it. I've already said goodbye to Gunn.

Alexis is safe b/c he's got Hannigan in his corner. And if a Buffy spinoff happens Joss wants Willow around. Speaking of spinoffs, I'd like to once again mention my idea of the Xander/Spike/Andrew buddy cop show with the ghost of Jonathon acting as their guide. Ok, so it wasn't as detailed as that the last time I mentioned it...

Oh and to answer a question I didn't see anyone answer I think Amy's in line with the First, hence her power upgrade.

The Xander/Spike/Andrew cop show idea is the best idea I have heard. Can imagine Spike as the heavy, Xander as the introspective detective and Andrew as the gay receptionist. What a minute?! Thats a NYPD Blue. Shit, here I thought it was original.

A Fan- Yes, Xander is a geek, but who the hell isn't?
