I've added a tag for marking a spoiler. Just hit spoiler within the [ ] and close it with /spoiler inside of [ ].

This is probably not going to work for everyone. I'm testing it in Mozilla 1.4 on a PC and the table looks right. Does this look wrong for anyone else?

Works fine on IE 6.0 but doesn't work at all on Opera 6.05. Just get the white highlight.

I'm using Opera 7.0 Guru, and it looks sexy like. Ok, not sexy, but it's rather attractive.

Was this designed similar to the spoiler tags on the Television Without Pity forums (although theirs are spoiler start and spoiler end, respectively)?

I dunno. Someone did one sort of like this in the random folder a while back, but they did it by hand. I figured a tag would be better for everyone.

Perhaps that person got the idea for it from there? I've never been to that web site.

Cool! Being a spoiler-avoider, I love it!

FWIW, looks fine on ancient Netscape on ancient PC. (I know, I know -- I need a new laptop!)

I've confirmed the Opera 6 problem. I don't know how to avoid that, though.

It seems to be highlighting everything in white - it doesn't contrast the text against the highlight color.

Maybe I could do this differently... I suppose I could hide the spoiler in the alt text for a graphic.

Until I fix this, you can quote the message if you want to read the spoiler - or you can copy and paste the text somewhere else. I'd change it right now, but it looks like the new version of Opera fixes this issue.

Just logged in with my Radio Shack TRS-80, and it works great.

Thanks!

The memories of my family outings are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the car - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Let me be the latest to try this....yep, seems to work

All right, I'm enjoying Rhyno's "man-beast" gimmick: He keeps his hair long, wears full-body wrestling tights with a big "R" on the back and uses the "Rhino Gore" as his finishing move. Can't you imagine him watching the Discovery Channel one day while tossing around possible gimmicks and having one of those "Hey, wait a second!" epiphanies during a rhino segment?

To spruce things up, the WWF should give Undertaker and Kane last names -- like Undertaker and Kane O'Brien, the O'Brien Brothers -- just for comedy's sake. Hopefully the door's still open.

RVD is approaching the always-exciting "The crowd loves him, but he's not getting a major push yet" phase which helps makes wrestling so much fun. It only happens once every few years -- Stone Cold in '96, The Rock in '98, Shawn Michaels in '93 and so on. -- ESPN's Bill Simmons back in 2001

There are some nice HTML tutorials out there that provide the basic essentials. Try looking up the "Bare Bones HTML" on Google and give it a look.
