What's up witht he tag champs? They haven't really been on TV together since the Rumble. I was really starting to enjoy them, and was glad to see them retain the titles. I thought they were getting a big push, and now they've faded intot he background. Is Spike injured or something (if they said anything on TV about it I may have fastforwarded past it)? That would explain Tazz being on Smackdown without him, but if he was injured why wouldn't they have taken the titles off them? Then in the Ross Report today JR said something to the effect of "Wish we could see the tag champs at live events more," but didn't offer any explanation as to why we can't see them more.

Just wondering if anyone had any information that I may have missed. Thanks.

They were on Smackdown last week, defending against Scotty and Albert.

It's hard to get behind a team what are destined to be jobbing to either the Outsiders or Billy & Chuck at an arena near you.

Yeah.. I love Spike, and I love Tazz.. but I'm really having trouble believing that they're a serious tag team in for the long run.. it seems they're just transitional champs for nWo team X (likely the outsiders) to show up, beat up, take the titles from, and keep the heat the Dudleys have so they can challenge.

I think, instead of nWo, we'll see the belts on Christian & Storm...
At least, I hope.

Insert clever comment.

I don't think the NWO will take the tag belts. If they do, I don't think they'll be the division-killing dominators like they were upon arrival in WCW.

Spike and Tazz were probably (just...another...) victim to the fact that the WWF had to cram a lot in the shows the past week or so and something had to be cut. Especially on RAW, which had two main-event caliber matches start and finsih AFTER 10:45.

Okay, just on the thought of an actual Christian/Storm tag team actually having matches and winning.... well, I really dig Christian's enterance, so I think they should modify it to set those guys as a real tag team. My first idea? Redo Duel of the Fates from Star Wars: EP1, just with the choir singing "CHRISTIAN!!!!! ...... LANCE STORM!!!! ...." listen to the music, it would work I tell you! It would!

Spike and Tazz are holding rhe belts for the Ambiguously Gay Duo - I'm afraid.

Speaking of them - was there no other way to get Chuck Palumbo over?

And bring back Sean O'Haire, already.

Can you dig it, sucka?

Sean O'Haire needs mic skills STAT.

And a better gimmick than "Guy standing around looking mad".

I'm also feeling an APA/Outsiders match at Wrestlemania. I don't think they'll hotshot the titles from Chuck and Billy to the APA if they go with the Ambiguously Gay Duo taking the belts from Small and Smaller.

That leaves either the Outsiders killing, then lawn darting Spike and Tazz, or they drop the belts to Chuck and Billy as I had previously thought, and the APA simply fight the Outsiders because they don't like them (novel concept there).

That, or I'm wrong about the whole thing.

No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.

Why exactly is "guy standing around looking mad" perfectly acceptable for the internet darling Rhyno, but not for O'Haire?

He's not MY darling. Rhyno sucks. O'Haire is cool, and I don't think he needed anymore training than, say...Jeff Hardy.

Because Rhyno actually looks and sounds very convincing as a guy who is on the brink of flipping out and destroying everyone.

Rhyno looks like a deranged freak of nature.
I wouldn't trust him with anything because he looks like he would like to rip it apart..
O'Haire (at least last time I saw him, before he left for OVW) looks like a real cool dude i wanna be friends with so his coolness could rub off on me.
His spikey hair ruled

I would like to see him back though..he always impressed me.

I was really hoping last year that they would do a sort of "Beauty and the Beast" thing last year with Rhyno and Stephanie while he was feuding with Chris Jericho. It would be like the Angle/Steph angle from 2000, except this time he would be doing stuff to impress her until he screwed up, accidentally gored her, and became a mark of shame on the Alliance.

Then again, maybe I thought of that just because I wanted to see Stephanie get beat up...

I don't know about O'Haire losing the 'angry guy' feel.. My friends and I referenced him as Satan, Lord of Darkness during the 'look into my eyes' stick he did in WCW.. because he was genuinely scary looking most the time when he said that.. he has the right intensity to carry that.
