Just a head's-up to those who are interested in the older WWE DVDs - I was in a Walgreens (a drugstore chain) yesterday and came across three DVDs in their discount racks: SummerSlam 2001, SummerSlam 2000, and the two-disc edition of The Rock: Just Bring it.

All were priced at $5.99 each.

Typically, when I see DVDs going to cheap in the Walgreens those same titles are showing up in other places around the area for similar prices.

My first guess would be that they're wanting to get rid of the discs that feature the "slash" WWF logo, but I'm not sure if the Rock 2-disc set would fit that theory.

Anyway, thought some here would be interested in hearing about it.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out. I didn't even know Walgreens had DVDs.

I found Unforgiven 2001 at a Kmart for $5.99 earlier this year. They also had a Rock DVD, but I already had it. You never know what'll show up in the bargain bin.

Well, I saw at a bargain bin at tower KOR 2000 and 2001, as well as Invasion and Summerslam 2001. Why I didn't snap them up, I don't know, but every time I go there, they are still in the bins.

After a quarter of a century on this planet, there's three things I know for sure...
1)I'm smarter than I was a year ago.
2)WWE isn't.
3) I'd make a fine Mrs. HHH II.

Wait for Friday, all of those DVD's marked 5.99 will be 2/$5 at your local Walgreen's. I happen to work at one, and when we got them in three weeks ago, I picked up the Hulk DVD, the HHH DVD (Flair-Steamboat!), Rebellion, No Mercy, and SummerSlamm 00 and 01, and a touch over four bucks a pop, factoring in my discount.

You know, I asked the Rick a while ago if Tazz was really from Red Hook but he never answered. I would say that Tazz saying he's from Red Hook isn't completely out of the blue.
