Just a head's-up to those who are interested in the older WWE DVDs - I was in a Walgreens (a drugstore chain) yesterday and came across three DVDs in their discount racks: SummerSlam 2001, SummerSlam 2000, and the two-disc edition of The Rock: Just Bring it.
All were priced at $5.99 each.
Typically, when I see DVDs going to cheap in the Walgreens those same titles are showing up in other places around the area for similar prices.
My first guess would be that they're wanting to get rid of the discs that feature the "slash" WWF logo, but I'm not sure if the Rock 2-disc set would fit that theory.
Anyway, thought some here would be interested in hearing about it.
Wait for Friday, all of those DVD's marked 5.99 will be 2/$5 at your local Walgreen's. I happen to work at one, and when we got them in three weeks ago, I picked up the Hulk DVD, the HHH DVD (Flair-Steamboat!), Rebellion, No Mercy, and SummerSlamm 00 and 01, and a touch over four bucks a pop, factoring in my discount.
Is there anything beyond what's on the "Here Comes the Pain" DVD (The W at Amazon) that you really need to see/would merit inclusion in a new collection on DVD? Obviously his WM20 match is on the WM20 DVD. His other PPV matches are on DVD.
