I'm still catching up on wrestling, was skimming through the last Impacts (I love my TiVo), & who suddenly turned up but Spanky! I actually did ever so slightly squeal at my TV. He was in a short 4-man match, but looked adorable as ever -- little tight trunks rather than the big baggy board shorts deal he was doing for a while. He was totally unannounced til he ran out for the match -- he's using different goofy-bouncy music, so it took the crowd a minute to process who it was, but then got a good pop & a good chant. His work looked excellent -- nice & snappy-quick-precise. Woo-hoo! :-)
(Meanwhile, on the other side of the TNA world -- they showed Nash & Hall promos for their match. Yeeesh -- they both looked awful. Maybe it was just the camera work & production effects. Yeah, that's it.)
I actually got the PPV for TNA and it was decent. I enjoyed it for the most part. Spanky was there, too! He is adorable. So, I will be watching TNA more. Hall is just ridiculously funny looking now. He def looks like he got some work done. He did take bumps all night though, which is more than I can say for Nash, who although looked to be not-fat, could barely walk. I was surprised he didn't blow something out walking down to the ring. Hall and his 'hey yo' was hilarious. Macho Man though? Please crawl back underneath that rock they found you under...thanks!
I caught bits and pieces of both shows, and really liked what I saw. I may be forced to start taping the weekend shows. The Stevie interview was one of the best backstage segments I have ever seen. In my mind, the pink fuzzy hat is his GM hat.
