Given the recent thread in video games about Guitar Hero I got a few chuckles out of this, but it didn't seem to be up to par with the three-parter.

Once again, Randy Marsh was the highlight of the episode for me.

I havent seen an episode in a long time, but happened across this one last night. Thought it was pretty funny, especially the Rocky references.

Well of COURSE it wasn't up to par with Imaginationland! If they could have pulled off that kind of greatness for the fourth episode in a row, we might as well crown this season as the best of all time. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. I'm glad I watch South Park again.

I wish that if you got a million points on Guitar Hero it would do the same thing as it did on the show :)

I loved it when that kid played a song "acoustically" in the restaurant. heh.

It seems Imaginationland's ratings we so high, they're going to release the trilogy on DVD, extended and uncensored.

I work with several QA testers from the new Guitar Hero and they all got a kick out of it. We're all joking that there needs to be a special copy with the "YOU...ARE...FAGS" message.

"Make Love, Not Warcraft" had the benefit of being the first of a fresh batch of episodes. "Guitar Queer-O" had the unfortunate task of coming immediately after the best three episodes of the series. It didn't stand a chance.

Although Randy Marsh continues to rule the universe.

I thought the episode was pretty great. Kyle playing power ballads in a dingy bowling alley, Stan a fallen rockstar and then the big reuniting at the end ... how poetic.

The acoustic stuff was great as well.

I almost always really enjoy the Stan and Kyle episodes, I'm not getting enough Kenny these days though.

And once again, Butters rules. I loved his "OoooooooooooooH" when Kyle found out Stan was playing with Thad and the last line when he was playing with Cartman was classic Butters.

I loved this episode and think if ANYTHING had te follow the epic Imaginationland, this was the perfect choice.

"Dude, that is so gay".

Stan and Kyle meeting Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler:

great ep especially heroin hero.
so do we all agree now (especially after watching the syndie re-runs) that Cartman is gay, that being the source of his anger.

I don't really consider the movie a comedy, but more of a dark character study. And a very good one at that. Almost a "Bad Santa" for women. Plus it introduced me to the term "Kentacohut", which I had previously not heard before.
