| #1 Posted on 7.10.02 1431.44 | Random thoughts on this weeks episode. 1) Thought that we were going to really have a blood and guts show after the opening beatdown, sadly, that was the only violent action in the show. 2) Way, way to coincidental that Tony's shrinks shrinks daughter is now connected to Meadow. That's getting a little to cute. 3) The parking lot scene that they had in the previews made it appear a major league beatdown would come on Tony, only it was someone waiting for a parking spot. Weak. 4) No Paulie is not a good thing. Only having him make token appearances was bad enough, now, no appearance at all. Funny how the quality seems weaker this year without Paulie interacting with the crew. 5) Anyone else waiting for the passionate screams for Furio during the last scene? Now, that would have made things very interesting.
Overall, I give the show a B for the week. After poor shows (by Soprano standards) the previous two weeks, I was expecting a blockbuster show this week.

I don't think it was cancelled.

| #5 Posted on 7.10.02 1705.57 | I have to say I was kinda disappointed by this week's episode. The whole "call off the hit five minutes to the end of the show." was sloppy conflict resolution on the order of your average "Star Trek: Voyager" episode.
That plus too much Meadow this episode leaves me right cold. The geriatric hitmen were hilarious tho. *L*

And, what is going on with Junior's Trial? Tony keeps talking about how he is on "trial for his life" yet we havent really seen anything from the courtroom. | OlFuzzyBastard

| #7 Posted on 7.10.02 1845.49 | I'm just relieved they didn't kill Ralphie yet. You know he's living on borrowed time - and I'd bet anything he doesn't make it to season 5, but I love that crazy bastard.
And Junior's hitmen made the whole damn show. I wanted to see them go through with the hit.
Next week, it looks like they're finally remembering about the Adrianna storyline! That's the only thing I hate about this show (besides the fact that an inpenitrable amount of time passes between seasons) - too many plot points drop off for episodes at a time for no good reason. I still want to know what happened to that Russian guy in the forest.

I've heard(not from the best source, mind you) that the Russian mob storyline is not going to be addressed this season. |
