Another excellent episode, but Buscemi directed ones are always good.

Kinder, gentler Tony lasted all of one episode. The look on his face in the mirror after he vomitted was great.

I was actually sad for Vito last night. Do you think he actually killed himself or is on the run?

I felt that Tony is still in better mental shape than usual. I'm pretty sure that the whole fight between him and Vin Diesel was planned in advance to get Tony some face back after the collapse at the wedding.

Other that the last scene, with Tony sizing up the room for the toughest ass to kick, this was just another filler show. Not that the shows are bad, it's just that not much happens. Much like last season, if you can remember that long ago. ;)

I think they're just setting up storylines at this point. There's just a ton of stuff going on, and it's only 3 episodes in, so I'm expecting (hoping) things will kick in to gear in by episode six or seven.

The thing that really got me last night was the stupidity of Christopher. He's always been a bit dim, but was in rare form.

I have no problem with setting up story lines, and they are slowly, but the first 3 seasons or so seemed more like every episode was a must see, and still built up ongoing story lines. Not so much now. I if missed last night's show, I doubt I would be lost next week. The acting is great, and so is the writing, it's the plotting that I have a problem with I guess.

I'm still not used to Tony and Carmella being in a scene and not screaming at each other.

I think if Vito killed himself, they would have shown the body, or at least let us hear a gunshot.

Not to mention there would be no mystery among the others as to why they hadn't heard from Vito, because if Vito had shot himself in the motel room it would have made the broadcast news (even if no one heard the shot, the maid would have found the body when cleaning the room that morning).

Since it's actually five episodes in, I think you unintentionally helped prove kentish's point.

I would say just laying low. Whenever they tease an occurrence like that, they usually throw a curve ball at you. I think he's going after the two that saw him, but still think his days are numbered. He's too cocky to last the whole season.

Random thoughts:

-Did Paulie have "Mom" covered up on the tattoo on his arm?

-Vito's Village People getup was the most disturbing thing I've seen this month.

-Tony kicking Baldie's ass was definitely thought out....you could tell he really didn't want to fuck him up too badly (why else would he turn his ring around?), but just wanted to prove himself to still be the Alpha Male of the bunch.

-MORE JUNIOR!

-My wishes for the next episode: Janice & AJ go for a drive and OOPS!...over the cliff they go. Thank you.

Do you think Matt and Trey didn't like Crystal Skull? *rolls eyes* I'm with Butters. (Except for all the dick shooting. Dude. Not cool.)
