Ok so someone said it would be cool if we noted all of the REAL relationships in the rasslin world:

So to get it out of the way so this doesn't turn into a Triple H bashing thread I'll start with:

There are rumors of Dusty Rhodes being related somehow to Fred "Shockmaster" Ottman and Brian Knobs.

Blackjack Mulligan, Barry and Kendall Windham
The Von Erichs
Michael Shane and Shawn Michaels
Chaz and Tugboat Taylor (any GWF fans here?)
Rick and Vic Steamboat

Jake Roberts, Sam Housten and I believe a former sister wrestler are the sons of Grizzly Smith.

The late Gorilla Monsoon and his late son, Joey Marella
The McMahons (obvious)

I could be wrong about this, but I believe Ottman is/was Dusty's son-in-law, at one point anyways.

Same thing with Bobby Eaton and Bill Dundee (Bobby is Bill's son-in-law).

As far as marriages, you could count Eddie Gilbert/Missy Hyatt and Eddie Gilbert/Medusa, Stone Cold/Lady Blossom, Mongo/Debra and Jazz/Rodney Mack.

And the sister or half sister of Jake Roberts is Rockin' Robin.

If we're counting Joey Marella, then the Hebners.

The thing I really want to see, if anyone has it or knows it (or can link me to it - I have searched), is the whole Samoan thing.

It's my understanding that Jimmy Snooka, the Wild Samoans, The Rock, Rakishi and Jamal/Rosie are all related somehow, as well as Haku (King Tonga, Meng) and Prince Ikulau and perhaps some other pacific islanders I haven't mentioned. Does anyone have the inside track on all of this? There must be a dedicated geneologist out there.

Of course, also to stay on topic, you have
Verne and Greg Gagne (Father/Son)
Dick the Bruiser and Crusher were cousins
Rocky Johnson and Duane Johnson (father/Son)
Bob (Ace) Orton and son Randy
(my brain is frying - the "man of a 1000 holds" that small guy in wcw, good mat wrestler - his dad was also in the sport)

1: There is great interest in regard to the entire Samoan family relations. Here is the most accurate information I know of that indicates how all the Samoans are related:

Afa and Sika Anoia are brothers. Afa had an adopted brother, the late Peter Maivia. Peter Maivia's grandson (through his daughter) is the current WWF star The Rock.

Afa has three sons. Their names are Samu (Headshrinker Samu), L.A. Smooth and Afa Jr. (Samoan Storm) Sika has one son in wrestling. His name is Matthew Anoia.

Afa and Sika have a sister. Their sons are current WWF star Rikishi Phatu and his brother The Tonga Kid (also Tama of the Islanders).

Afa and Sika also have another brother, who is not involved in wrestling. His son is former WWF star Yokozuna.

Afa and Sika are also cousins to Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.

Yes! Used to watch them in Houston when I lived there. Forgot what they were called, but Tugboat ran a school and a little indie fed down there. Much fun.

Let's not forget the Hart family by marriage. Jim Neidhart married Ellie Hart. Davey Boy Smith married Diana Hart and Ben Bassarab married Alison Hart. Supposedly, Roddy Piper is also a distant relative of the Hart family.

Someone may have discussed this before, but I can't remember for sure. How can the WWF make the claim that No Way Out is sold out?
