I wish there was an easy way I could read the Observer for free. Ah well.

However, I'm guessing it has something to do with the big black guy getting cut from Tough Enough, as he was the one with the best charisma and look, yet was cut for lying about his age.

Re-read, Omega. It says refusal to lie, not insistence on lying.

It put a dent in the London/Kidman/Chavo storyline, causing them to rush the split between London/Kidman, but I couldn't have seen them making it a big story to begin with.

| #6 Posted on 1.11.04 1543.01 | Instant Rating: 1.10 | The refusal to lie has to do with Jhonny Ace telling Foley that the Ric Flair comments made in England were legit and not the seeds of an angle. Jhonny refusing to lie thus then killed of the chances of the Foley/Flair feud, that Foley might have been open to, if the comments made were part of an angle. So basically Dave thinks if Johnny had told Foley that Flair was just working, the angle could have came alive.
I know this may disapoint you, as I also was looking foward to seeing what the lie was. I get My Observer on Saturdays It's a rather small blurb, on page 9. I think that the way he phrased it makes it look like a big deal, but I guess thats how you sell a newsletter.
And for those wondering, the lying Tough Enough guy wasnt planned for any angles at all, the Observer headline about the big lie refusal was all about Ace, unfortunatley.
