Although details are not known at the time, WWE has released Brent Albright. Albright wrestled in OVW and did make a short run on Smackdown as Gunner Scott.

True, but thats the same gimmick they started Cena & Orton with, isnt it? Actually, didnt they do that with Shelton & Hass too (before they were a team)?
I actually had high hopes for Gunner, I guess this is what I get.

I thought the Benoit's "student" angle would have worked ... the age-old tale of student betraying teacher, etc ... sure it's been done a bajillion times, but beats 50% of the crap we see now.

October 13th: ROH officials are looking to bring some new talent to ROH to shake up the roster. Three new talents will be given a shot when ROH returns to Dayton on 10/27. "The Shooter" Brent Allbright, Tank Toland and "M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross have all been added to the event.

So it looks like he has already found a nice place to show his skills.
