As part of my duties as a loan review officer at the bank I work for, I am privileged to fill the soda machines on a weekly basis. I am (a) the low man on the totem pole and (b) the only guy under about 50 who wouldn't die loading a couple of cases of cola.

Anyhow.....my spreadsheets tell me that:

Overall soda consumption has gone up 47% since the time change (daylight savings).
Consumption of heavily caffeinated beverages has gone up 127% since the time change.

So...
Granted, you are the master of this board, but you can have a big-ass sig with flashy letters and a blue background but Salami's is too big with a few lines of text and an avatar?

It's a height thing. I can make a diagram later if I'm not making sense, but generally I'm not big on ANY signature that's "taller" than the actual post text. I think I've been consistent on this in the past.

Personally, I think he ought to be commended for those sigs. When I saw the one with Grimis and the Batltimore logo earlier I fell out of my chair laughing. I can't put my finger on it, but its damn funny.

Sadly, the not-so-interesting but accurate soda trends have gone unnoticed.

So, with a slightly smaller font size and less line breaks in a sig that was already smaller (and yes, I broke out the ruler) than several that post VERY regularly (of course I'm sure they've been "put on notice" as well) I will attempt to redirect the original intent of this thread (not that the original intent was by any means cool or anything)....

So, wow, how 'bout those soda trends.

Yep - Diet Pepsi is still the heavy seller here. Mountain Dew Livewire (which we were able to keep stocked all winter long) still hasn't started its summer sales kick. Mountain Dew and Diet Mountain Dew continue to battle for the Number 2 sales spot, with Pepsi and Cherry Pepsi a distant 4 and 5.

Sales on our diet drinks went up and up over the last six months in direct correlation to the number of people who went on the Atkins Diet.

As the Atkins trend has stalled here (rather dramatically) in the last 30 days, the diet drinks have gone down while the "regular" sodas have gained.

Of the Diets...Diet Dr Pepper is BY FAR our biggest seller.

Those people are cheating. From what I know about the Atkins Diet, diet drinks are a big no-no since Atkins advises against the consumption of aspartame. Now if it's just a low-carb thing, then yes, diet drinks are cool.

Human Clock The clock itself is fun. Very much reminds me of the whole "W" thing. However if you're a geek, you'll probably get as much of a kick out of the story of an Atari webserver (among other things). Edit: Crap...
