This came to me after a few beers, so it could be waaaay too far-fetched. Heck, you may not even see this post -- I may decide while typing it that yup, it was too many beers. Then again, I don't like wasting typing, so most likely it'll stay.

ANYway, I thought of a possible fun angle to run an unofficial trade, brainstormed by Vince to give himself an edge. Say a Vince toady is the champ ... let's say Angle. However, Vince is still trying to get UT on his show, and Flair is refusing trades left and right. So Vince puts his plan into action.

(1) Monday Night Raw, Angle challenges UT to a title match for the next Monday. UT accepts.

(2) Smackdown, Vince books a title match for Angle and, say, Maven, or some other ham-and-egger. Angle throws it.

(3) Monday Night Raw, said ham-and-egger gets DECIMATED by UT in the already-booked match, with UT winning the title.

(4) Smackdown, UT throws it back to Angle, thus completing an extremely uneven UT-for-Maven (or other HAE-er) trade over the course of two weeks, ticking off Flair and putting the title right back where it started.

The negatives for this, of course, is that it might devalue the title, but I think if it's played right the reasons could overcome that.

Also, you could play it that now that UT has the title he doesn't WANT to lose it back to Angle, as had been the original plan, because now he can appear on both shows. Vince would explain that "yeah, but what if you lose it to a Raw wrestler? You'd be right back on Raw" with of course the response of "I don't plan on losing it."

Anyway, just a thought as to how things can be manipulated now.

1. If we were talking about ability and talent, I'd pick one of the Hart brothers, but we're talking favorites, so I have to go with Chris Jericho, who hooked me in with the Dean Malenko feud and conspiracy theory stuff in 1998 and hasn't let go since.
