I've hated Wil all season, but I actually felt bad for him tonight. Not because he lost, but because of the whole Tara situation. She was in total bitch mode tonight, especially during the underwater box opening task, and when they were around the igloofire waiting to be unbunched..err, I mean, to complete their deep and intricate task.
Plus she was flirting heavily with Alex(or is it Chris? They fucking won the thing and I still can't tell them apart) tonight. To do what you want to do is one thing, but she seemed like she was mocking him with it, and just generally rubbing it in his face.
I still would have preferred the Teeth to win, of the 3 teams left.
Somewhere around the ice chipping part, when Wil quit for the billionth time, I snapped from "boy, Wil's an unlikeable person and I really wouldn't want to be around him" to "WIL MUST DIE". Being teased with them been stranded without a clue (haha) in Alaska, so familiar, I think I was on edge.
There was so much justice in that scene - angle resolution, if you will - and the absolute hilarity of Wil saying "I'd give YOU the clue" (which was even more funny when Wil pointlessly tried to screw them over to the line)
Tara was totally unlikable this week (and has in the past) and it's probably the overwhelming SUCK of WIL that she hasn't gotten as much notice as if she had be doing this to someone else. And Tara had good moments where she seemed like a nice person driven insane. But I think Blake and Paige got their descrptions down, and I think that Tara hanging out with ChrisAlex maybe was her quiet way of fighting back - you get the feeling this isn't the first time that's happened.
I was thinking, Chris and Alex got the pit stop entertainment value of them all when they got to sit by a fire and watch Tara and Wil fall apart.
Wil and Tara, the way they had gotten through the race, simply couldn't possibly win for the good of the show. If you can act like they did and still win, it doesn't say much about what it takes to win this thing. So it was an awesome awesome moment when Chris and Alex passed them in the end.
I think Wil and Tara were on to something when they stopped their cab and acted like they were running towards the finish, but the execution of the plan sucked. I think the guys would have followed if they would have done a better job of selling it.
I'd have yelled "It's just around that corner!!", then faked an ankle sprain and watched the two buddies race by with smirks on their faces thinking they've won. Then as soon as they get a little ways off, I throw 200 bucks at THEIR driver to just get lost, and book it to the finish line in my cab.
That was actually the first episode I saw, and although yes, Wil is a definite tool, Tara was a total bitch...not to mention her slutting around with the enemy way too much.

The worst part of this is that I think Tara and Wil will get a talk show when everything is said and done. Those two definitely deserve one another. When Wil asked Blake about the clue, he should have made something up that sounded legit.
Well, my Amazing Race cherry was just popped. (Wow, I never thought I'd have to type that...) My best friend and my girlfriend both went "Watch the show" and I did and it kicked ass! But I wanted Blaine and his sister to win. Why? Because they weren't bickering, and they weren't both men.
Holden: Judging by the buzz, that movie's gonna make some serious bank. Jay: What buzz? Holden: The internet buzz. Jay: What the f*ck is the internet? [Holden (Ben Affleck) & Jay (Jason Mewes) in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back]
Your help is needed. And maybe you'll be on TV. Well, basic cable. But still... It looks like our show is going to depend heavily on our viewers, at least as we're getting started (I'm not the producer, so I couldn't say for sure).
