Glad to see it happen as he had nothing more to prove. Class act as it was mentioned and should be a first ballot HOF.

Former Cy Young winner and World Series MVP for the 1995 Braves......kudos Glavine and in a few years, you will be in Cooperstown.

Sadly, as a Mets fan my memories of Glavine will always start with September 30, 2007, a day on which he was simply horrible.

But that one day shouldn't really take away from his legacy, and his place in the Hall will surely be deserved.

It's not a bad baseball town. They just haven't had product in forever. If they could field a competitive team. the fans would come out. My beloved Indians didn't draw for decades. We could go the day of the game and get seats behind the dugout.
