Right before the release of Smackdown vs. Raw, I'm taking the time to beat all my wrestling games, using my CAW wrestlers.

So, I beat WWE Smackdown (SYM) for the PS2. Sweeet game. Beat Booker T to keep my beloved WWE title. I also held the WWE Tag Titles with Hogan, but we held them for seven months with no defenses.

Anyhow, during the final credits, there are screen shots of mirror matches, featuring five Ric Flairs doing the Flair Flop, and three Booker T's, and some shots of two Takers.

I've searched high and low for Gameshark codes that would allow such to occur, but my searches have proven fruitless.

Can anyone suggest any sites that host Gameshark codes that aren't found on the GS site?

Thanks!

Ha, Ha, Ha!

Finishing SYM is a cake walk my friend. Try finishing the RAW2 career mode. Not because it's hard to do, but because of the game itself...YUCK !
Actually the game itself does blow chunks, so try finishing RAW2 for it's bad gameplay and the bad career mode then I'll let you stand in front of my avatar over to the left there...I keed, I keed

As for Gameshark codes what are you trying to do? Have mirror matches?

Well, those "mirror matches" were just clips of the game before the "same wrestler cannot be picked twice" mechanism was put in by the developers, it was just done for some humor in the credits sequence as far as I know.

Yeah, I cant wait for S v R and Im also going back and playing old games. Im already bored of playing SYM and HCTP though, so I went farther back in time to play No Mercy for the N64. Damn, that game is way ahead of its time- in fact some things from S v R like sitting-down grappling and the inclusion of Andre and Mankind seem to be taking a cue from NoMercy. Also; NoMercy gives you the ability to make 4 different costumes for your created characters (and every superstar has 4 edittable costumes too)- its great.

Ooops, I got off track there for a second. So yeah, RAW 2 sucks... thats why the whole team that was developing it was fired upon the games completion, it happens.

Sidequestion: DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW YOU PULL OFF FINISHERS IN NO MERCY?!! AAAAH!!! (Supposedly its with the analog stick, but how? Is there something wrong with my controller?)

When you're SPECIAL, get your opponent in a strong grapple (HOLD the A button, don't just tap it) and push the analog stick.

No Mercy for N64? I think it was like this:
When your special meter is red and flashing, flick the control stick to activate it. For specials from a standing pr turnbuckle grapple, use a strong grapple, then flick the stick(RockBottom, Benoit's German suplexes, StinkFace). For specials off a whip to the ropes(BossMan Slam), just flick the stick. For top-rope(Swanton Bomb) and ground-grapple(Figure-four, People's Elbow) specials, just proceed as normal. To steal a finisher(standing, turnbuckle, and ground grapples only), press A+B instead of the stick.

edit: beat to the punch.

I'm looking to see if there's a Gameshark code for mirror matches. There's gotta be something around like that...

In a side note, I started working on the career mode for Smackdown: Just Bring It...and it's a heckuva lot more difficult than any other SD! game out there. I was also unimpressed with the character creation process, too.

...and when HCTP is released as a Greatest Hit...I'm SO there!
