At least the 'Hawks made it through the 1st preseason game without losing our QB like when I had to make the earliest "Ceremonial Throwing of the Hat" ever when Dilfer went down in the exhibition opener last year.
Of course, there's still a ton of guys with some nagging injfuries from training camp and Walter Jones is doing his annual holdout . . .

On the subject of Jones, Holmgren (or whoever replaced him as GM) should just pay the guy what he deserves already. They *better* get Jones under contract soon or I'll have something to say about it - I have Alexander in my fantasy league, and not having Jones around fucked him up good in the first month last year...
As they said on the Post-Intelligencer website today, the big winner last night was Walter Jones and his agent. Your former castoff, Floyd "Pork Chop" Womack got torched for a couple of big plays last night.
If they don't sign WJ soon, I'm gonna pull a Tim Meadows/Tracy Morgan SNL skit and "we gonna git your money" for 'im.

I know it's nitpicky and the thread title is a good joke, but I'm pretty sure Kitna played (and started) for a nine win team, back in 1999 when the Seahawks won the AFC West. Okay, so Glenn Foley started one game that year... details, details.
