No, there isn't. But like EZ board, you should be able to "Mark Forum Read" when you are done with it, and then there will be a spiffy "NEW" on the forums with new posts.
//edit: Although... thinking about it more, I could possibly do this, as it is just a database, and I ~am~ supposedly a DBA for a living...
