It's not a bad film, and I prefer it to Tarsem Singh's efforts from earlier in the year, but it had a load more potential compared to what it actually delivers. I typically avoid trailers at all costs, but I caught the one for SWATH prior to seeing the film. On the plus side it looked great and got my hopes up. On the flipside of that all the cool shit is given away in the trailer.
I felt every minute of this movie. Its not a bad movie. There are some beautiful images and a Pillars of the Earth reunion as well as Thor fighting a Troll. Charlize Theron is a good performance even its a bit over the top. It just got too LOTR at the end as well as stealing from Never Ending Story and Labyrinth. There was potential to being with it, but slows to a halt for a long time and even the end feels like forever.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
