For the first part of the current SNL season, Chris Parnell was noticeably absent (by me, at least) from the cast. For the past 3 or 4 episodes, however, he is back. I've yet to find any story detailing the reasons on his absence or return. Any of you know?

Attempted vehicular homicide to cover up a neck injury. :D

[EDIT] He's a great straight man, which is so uncommon nowadays when everybody seems to want to deliver the punch line. As a centaur, he and Christopher Walken were a riot...

My guess is that he was let go from the cast at the end of the previous season and brought back halfway through the current one because Lorne realized that he has talent.

No explanation, but I noticed that, too. I think he is pretty funny, and he takes on multiple roles. Glad to see him back.

I will be in Las Vegas, walking distance from the Tropicana, for 12 days. I'm not getting a car. I'll have from 6pm to 8 am open, but I'm in a training class each day for 10 hours and want to learn what I'm there to study.
