For the first part of the current SNL season, Chris Parnell was noticeably absent (by me, at least) from the cast. For the past 3 or 4 episodes, however, he is back. I've yet to find any story detailing the reasons on his absence or return. Any of you know?

Attempted vehicular homicide to cover up a neck injury. :D

[EDIT] He's a great straight man, which is so uncommon nowadays when everybody seems to want to deliver the punch line. As a centaur, he and Christopher Walken were a riot...

My guess is that he was let go from the cast at the end of the previous season and brought back halfway through the current one because Lorne realized that he has talent.

No explanation, but I noticed that, too. I think he is pretty funny, and he takes on multiple roles. Glad to see him back.

Some friends of mine and I are starting an acoustic based little trio thing ... I was wanting to learn the harmonica to give an extra element to the sound, but I have no clue as to go about selecteing them, choosing a good guide, etc ...
