Decent show last night. Some stinkers, as is to be expected, but the send-offs to Fred Armisen and Bill Hader were great. Stefon's wedding had everything: puppets in disguise, Mennorah the Explorer, Anderson Cooper, Churfs, and human traffic cones. I saved the show on the PVR so I can go back and look for all the callbacks I missed the first time out. And Armisen's farewell with all the indie rock icons that I know nothing about was just a really nice moment.
I assume Jason Sudekis is sticking around, at least for part of next season?
As for the other skits, there were a lot of one-joke wonders, but at least they weren't repeats. And we also got the girls that aren't porn stars anymore, which is one of the few recurring bits I'm not tired of yet.
Aaaaand a huge "Thank You" to Iliza Schlesinger, destroyer of worlds. I bet the others were happy at who went home. My favorite part is backstage during the performances when the the other comedians give their critiques.
