| #1 Posted on 16.3.03 0222.09 | Good stuff this week. The two funniest moments for me were Horatio Sanz as Harry Knowles and Amy Poehler as Avril Lavigne.
Another bonus was seeing Amy in pigtails tonight. :)
Get well soon Kurt, Batista, Randy, Edge, Kevin, Scotty, Bubba, Regal....

Knowing the circumstances, I don't think Mr. Rogers threatening a laundromat attendant with a gun is appropriate anymore. So you get this instead. | tomvejada

Last Night's TV Funhouse wasn't as funny as last week's but was still funny. Highlights included Bamm-Bamm and Marvin The Martian.
Update was alright.
The Man In The Box skit was funny as well. I hope Will Forte stays on the show next year.

Does anyone know the deal with the "random character walking onto the set" at the end of each Weekend Update? I've noticed it for most of this season and I wondered if there was any significance to this? Or is it just some in-joke for the crew?

| #6 Posted on 18.3.03 0124.48 | Fallon used to throw his pencil at the camera ala Letterman, but the last few weeks they've done something else with the pencil. A robber will grab it out of his hands or something similar.
Update was long and good but as much as I love POEHLER~! the Avril Lavigne "Update Door" thing was DOA and should have been cut after dress. Oooh, making fun of Avril for her shirt and tie and pretending to be punk. Not that I disagree, but it's an observation that any twelve year old can make and wasn't that funny. Now Fred Armison's Latin comedian: THAT'S funny!
Except that it sucks.
I'M JUST KIDDING!

Agreed. Fallon actually did a better impersonation of her at the MTV awards last year.
Tina's celebrity women-bashing routine is getting kinda old. She comes across as being very petty or jealous of women with fame. (especially those who get fame through modeling, etc.) I think the Avril bashing was an offshoot of that.
