| #1 Posted on 9.2.03 0741.48 | You know last night's SNL was bad when the best part of the show was the Dixie Chicks' performance, and I'm not even a Dixie Chicks fan.
The only funny thing on last night's show was Update.

| #2 Posted on 9.2.03 1107.46 | I think its pretty bad when the funniest man on the show is now Darrell Hammond. Its pretty sad, because I think SNL enjoyed a little improvement in the 'OO-'01 seasons with Ferrell doing Bush and Hammond doing Gore and Cheney. Jimmy Fallon is just a stiff, chuckling poor man's Adam Sandler, and the bastard gets to make out with kirsten dunst too. Horatio Sanz is just a discount Chris Farley. I don't think Tina Fey as the head writer helps at all either. And now they have that guy Chris Parnell doing bush...ugh. This is probably the worst SNL season or lineup in quite a while.

| #4 Posted on 10.2.03 0347.26 | Yeah I thought this was a pretty bad episode as well. After weekend update, which I thought was okay. It went downhill.
Euro Club Traxx had so much potential to be really funny and they threw it away. McConaughey getup was hilarious but they did nothing with him. I did like the kids hating on Bush and the U.S policy and then in the very next breath request Jenny from the block from J-Lo.
Office story was alright, not necessary funny. McConaughey wasn't really good here. Again only one good laugh was when Kattan was getting kicked and said "stop it" and Matthew said "That's not what he said, why are you putting your own words in it"
The next scene was only saved by McConaughey Jamaican good Jamican accent.
Then end the show with chilly fart jokes. Lazy, boring, I hate fart jokes and this one is no exception. After the first 3 or 4 it's like "I get it he gets gas because of the chilly". Real advertisments would be better then this filler.

The sad thing is, McConaughey seemed really comfortable and his comedic timing was dead on. Too bad the material sucked for the most part. I hope they come ups with some decent skits for the next 2 weeks...

| #8 Posted on 10.2.03 1926.37 | Instant Rating: 5.54 | Weekend Update was great The skit about the war protest was great The skit about Matt McC and Rachel Dratch on a blind date was pretty funny The Dixie Chicks were great The monologue was pretty good
Overall, that's a pretty decent show. The only thing really terrible was the Club Traxx skit.
Well Mr. Burns had done it. The power plant had won it. With Rogers Clemens clucking all the while. Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile. While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the barroom tile. We're talkin'... Softball. From Maine to San Diego. Talkin'... Softball. Mattingly and Canseco. Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw. Steve Sax and his run-in with the law. We're talkin' Homer... Ozzie and the Straw.

"Not the kind *I* like..."
That was funny.
I also really enjoyed the Tax Code Song as well. Club Traxx sucked, but oh well. Dixie Chicks always manage to do really well anytime I see them on TV, and I am not their biggest fan, either.
